For registered apprenticeship sponsors, grant-funded workforce programs, and any training organization that has to report outcomes to a funder, regulator, or auditor. Every data point required for a RAPIDS or PIRL filing is a first-class field in Chronos.
Who uses Chronos Compliance
Employers, intermediaries, and JATCs running Department of Labor–registered programs. You need RAPIDS-compliant records, OJT hour tracking, wage progression, and defensible audit trails.
Grant-funded training cohorts, state workforce investment boards, community-based providers. You report participant outcomes upward — entered employment, retention, credentials earned.
Career & technical education programs, community college workforce divisions, sector partnerships. Courses have to ladder into credentials, and credentials have to count.
Programs
Register programs with full DOL metadata — occupation code, RAPIDS number, required OJT and RTI hours, delivery model. Competency-based, time-based, or hybrid: Chronos models all three without shoehorning.

Employers
FEIN, NAICS code, sponsor agreement dates, primary contacts, worksite-level apprentice assignments. The employer side of the record is modeled as carefully as the apprentice side — because an RA audit will ask about both.

RTI courses aren't a separate database. They link to existing Chronos LMS courses — so the textbook chapters, the quizzes, the hands-on assignments are all already there. You just attach a term, an instructor, and a grade.

RAPIDS and PIRL export
Every field the Department of Labor asks for in a RAPIDS roster or PIRL (ETA-9172) submission is a first-class field in Chronos. No custom spreadsheet columns. No staff member spending two weeks on each filing. One click produces a CSV in the exact schema.
Registered Apprenticeship Partners Information Data System — the DOL roster of active apprentices and their outcomes.
Participant Individual Record Layout — the individual-level dataset DOL uses to evaluate workforce program performance.
E-signatures
Build templates for apprentice agreements, Form 671, sponsor policies, PIRL consents. Send for signature via email. Every signature carries an IP, user-agent, timestamp, and typed-name audit record. No DocuSign seat required.

Reports
Not just RAPIDS and PIRL. The reports you'll actually use in the monthly program review, the quarterly board meeting, and the audit response binder.
Tell us about your program and we'll run Chronos through your reporting workflow on the demo call. You can leave with a sample CSV in hand.
